Repair & Renovation of Social Centre, Tensa, BIM

Project Scope

The project involved the repair and renovation of the Social Centre in Barsua Iron Mines Township. The scope of work included both internal and external repairs, as well as electrical work. Here are the key tasks:

Internal Work

  1. Tiling of walls and floors in the corridor.
  2. Wall tiles and floor vitrified tiles in the reading room and gym hall.
  3. Renovation of toilets.
  4. Replacement of doors and windows with aluminum and steel doors/windows.
  5. Repair and replacement of damaged windows and doors.
  6. Installation of new doors and windows.
  7. Distempering and putty work.
  8. Repair of damaged plaster areas.
  9. Preparation of a badminton court with EPE sports flooring and marking.

External Work

  1. Installation of PVC tanks for toilets.
  2. Acrylic emulsion painting.
  3. Fixing of exhaust fans.
  4. Replacement of entrance steps with chequered tiles.
  5. Laying new pipelines.
  6. Construction of a cooking shed and dishwashing platform.
  7. Replacement of the main gate.
  8. Repair of damaged chain link fencing.
  9. Replacement of rainwater spouts with PVC pipes.
  10. APP roof treatment to prevent seepage.

Electrical Work

  1. Replacement of damaged electrical wirings.
  2. Installation of new exhaust fans.
  3. Replacement of old ceiling fans.
  4. Provision of LED flood lights.
  5. Replacement of damaged electrical fittings.
