  • Client: Deendayal Port Authority- Kandla
  • Industry: Ports and maritime
  • Powering Progress at Kandla: Enhancing SIPC Infrastructure
    .

Overview

This ambitious project centers on creating a robust power supply system to support the Special Industrial Processing Cluster (SIPC) at Kandla. Our work ensures uninterrupted, efficient energy distribution across the area, empowering industrial growth.

Key Deliverables

Overhead Power Lines
  • Constructed double-circuit overhead lines spanning 5.5 km.
  • Utilized high-performance Rabbit AAAC conductors for optimal energy transmission

Safe Crossings

  • Installed underground 11kV cables for critical road and rail crossings.
  • Maintained stringent safety and operational standards throughout..

Seamless Connectivity
Connected the new 11kV double-circuit system to the existing 66/11kV AIS substation using underground cables.

Advanced Substation Infrastructure Built a dedicated substation building equipped with:
  • Two 1600 kVA 11kV/415V transformers.
  • Modern switchgear and LT switchboards for enhanced performance.

Illuminating the Way
Installed six 16 kVA 11kV/415V distribution transformers along the route to power street lighting systems.

Regulatory Compliance
  • Coordinated with the Central Electricity Authority and state authorities.
  • Obtained all statutory approvals for energizing the new 11kV overhead line.

Project Success

We are proud to announce the successful completion of this project, highlighted by the receipt of the Completion Certificate from the Deendayal Port Authority. This milestone reflects our dedication to quality, safety, and timely execution, ensuring reliable power for SIPC’s growing industrial demands
